Hot Stones Massage
Massaging with hot stones offers therapeutic benefits by combining the use of heated basalt stones with Swedish massage techniques. This treatment is a cornerstone of deep muscle relaxation and stress relief, ideal for unwinding from the demands of modern life.
The stones are heated to a comfortable temperature and placed on key energy points of the body, such as the sacrum and by the spine for relaxation, and then, using smaller heated stones I perform Swedish massage movements on the body.
The heat creates vasodilation (widening of blood vessels) so therefore stimulates blood flow and also increases the flow of lymphatic fluid helping with the elimination of metabolic waste products
