Hi I'm Jody, I am a founder member of the Silver Web Holistic Centre, which is now in its 12th year and I absolutely love what I do. Whether it is working with my clients in a one to one environment focusing on the whole person, not just the problem symptoms, to help them become balanced emotionally, mentally, physically and spiritually or running classes and workshops to teach people how to help themselves, I am deeply passionate about what I do.
I am an experienced practitioner using acupuncture, massage, reiki and a host of other tools to promote healing and balance in the body.
Since training initially as a reiki practitioner in 2008, I have devoted my career to helping people achieve their health & wellness goals due to the profound effect of a reiki treatment I received. I didn't know it was possible to feel so emotionally & mentally settled within myself, that one treatment and subsequent others sparked a drive to learn and teach this beautiful system to others.
Since then I have gone on to include acupuncture, massage and other therapies to my list of qualifications, knowing that one approach to health & wellness does not suit all.
I specialise in pain management, mental-emotional health, women's health, digestive issues, positive mindset & helping you reach your health & wellness goals.
While the other side of me builds community and connections through the classes, workshops and training that I offer. Helping you to empower yourself through knowledge and practice.

Hello, I’m Claire, and I’ve been part of the Silver Web team for several years. My therapy journey began in 2015 when I trained as a Clinical Canine Massage Practitioner — and I still love working with dogs today. During that time, I discovered Myofascial Release and was inspired to train so I could bring this wonderful therapy to people too. Since then, I’ve continued expanding my skills with other complementary therapies to support clients in a holistic way.
Outside work, I enjoy time with my two elderly dogs, dancing swing jive and ballroom with my partner, and relaxing with classical music, a good book, or a craft project.
My pet hate? Mismatched cutlery!
Something not many people know about me — I lived on a narrowboat for five years.
And if I were Prime Minister, I’d make sure more complementary therapies were available on the NHS.
